Anuja Chaudhri is not only a yoga instructor but an overall wellbeing coach who brings wellness into the lives of many.

Her coaching is through her Indian roots, her life experiences, her personality and her yoga teaching. Growing up in an environment of Indian culture and heritage, yoga was very much part of Anuja’s growing years. Her sessions not only focus on the physical aspect but integrates the deeper meaning of yoga, which originated in India. Anuja has built an amazing community through her yoga studio, Almaden Yoga in San Jose, California. Under her leadership Almaden Yoga has been in service for over 14+ years. She has trained over 60 beautiful beings to become yoga instructors. Almaden Yoga has welcomed over 30,000 people into the studio. Her joy and passion has been in teaching yoga, and she has taught over 15,000 classes since 2006. Anuja has taken yoga retreats to Bali, India, Greece. She enjoys traveling the world with a community that trusts her, laughs with her and like her believes that travel expands ones being.

Human interaction and connection are the key elements for Anuja, her teaching and her yoga studio. She believes that the human and the being in the human are of paramount importance and therefore her sessions are adaptable to address every individual’s needs. Her classes are about strength, both physical and internal. They are fun with playful moves through the practice. In essence Anuja is a fun-loving person. She squeezes every moment of life with love and laughter, as she strongly feels both these qualities are equally essential parts of wellbeing.

She also fills her life with family, friends, music, dance, reading, gardening, and her newfound love, playing tennis.
